White Birch Builders Incorporated began by remodeling homes in 1990.  Six months later, founding partners Richard Formsma and Todd Wilde began building new homes.

White Birch Builders Inc. is dedicated to building quality crafted, custom homes and enhancing homes through renovations.  We work hard for our clients ensuring full attention to detail is given to each step of the building process.  Much time and effort is put into our consultation and bidding process which allows our clients to sign a contract with the assurance that the amenity level they expect is covered within the contract. 

Our company name, White Birch Builders, Inc. has special meaning as our family cottage was built on White Birch Drive over 40 years ago. This cottage has been central meeting place for family and friends throughout the years and was the place that the vision for White Birch Builders, Inc. was created. It is our desire that each home we build or renovate creates a welcoming space where memories are created.

Scott Formsma, President, is proud to be a second-generation builder.  He grew up spending time on the job sites and worked with White Birch Builders through high school and following his graduation from Cornerstone University. His 14 years working as a building operations administrator for a nonprofit organization equipped him with strong management skills and knowledge of the building trade. He has a passion for building and seeing beautiful projects come to completion with satisfied customers being his priority.
